'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment midway through the four-year agreement he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the first major achievement of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he previously was, and would definitely think about extending his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
